The photographs for Spoonfuls of Germany are by Ted Rosen.

I find his work to be “food portraits” rather than photographs of food. I have watched him work, and I swear I have overheard him saying to the dumplings, “This time, smile” .

Other than food, Ted’s photographic genres include photo journalism and news, archaeology and architecture, and portraits of people. Ted works in the digital age, but his real passion is with 35mm black-and-white film, and in the darkroom.
