This is a fantastic German cookbook — I’ve been cooking from an earlier edition for years, and every recipe I’ve made from it is delicious and spot-on!

Thank you, pleased to hear that. I only had a quick glance at your blog but it looks like I will find great inspirations for recipes with produce from my garden there.

Any information on the release of the new hardcover edition in September?

Not yet, still in the making but I will post updated information here and on the Spoonfuls of Germany Facebook page. I will also send an email notification, if you would like to be included please send me an email to spoonfulsofgermany@gmail.com (I will of course use your email address only for that purpose).

The paperback version of your cookbook is currently listed on Amazon for $525.00. If only you’d saved a couple of thousand copies, you’d be all set for retirement. 😉
Looking forward to buying a copy of the ebook.

Andy, I know, the price of a book once it is out of print is outrageous…

I am researching currently on the internet for such books to gift a friend in India who loves food. I found your book interesting with information about not just recipes but also about culture and history. Its exactly the kind of book I wanted to gift. Just wondering if this book has a mix of recipes from vegetarian, sea food, chicken etc. and not just red meat as my friend doesn’t eat or cook any beef or pork etc. Appreciate if you could help me with a short feedback. Thank you.
